METRO MICRO IS HERE!

New Rideshare service from MetroHave you heard?!

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has launched Metro Micro, a new on-demand rideshare service offering trips within several service areas in Los Angeles County including Watts/Willowbrook, Inglewood/LAX, El Monte, Compton and North Hollywood Burbank, with four additional zones launching in the Summer.

The new service is for short trips and uses small vehicles (seating up to 10 customers). Metro Micro is part of Metro’s family of services and has been designed hand-in-hand with our NextGen Bus Plan. The new service is meant to extend the offering of public transit to areas where running fixed-route buses proves challenging.
